This fabric has a fair amount of give to it. It is best to go off of bust measurement around at the fullest.

I have eyed this many times and couldn't quite see the need for a full length velvet dress in my life, but with the excuse of a holiday concert I finally took the plunge - so glad I did! Quick customer service when I had questions. . . I followed the lead of another reviewer and got this dress as a nightgown, warm, dreamy, perfect for midwest winters.
I love this dress. I ordered in in green. It is very soft and lovely. I'm sure I will enjoy wearing it. My one complaint would be that it is a little long. I am 5'7 and ordered a S. I am small chested and wear minimalist shoes that don't give me any extra height so maybe those factors are contributing... but I do have to be careful not to walk on it. I may get it hemmed an inch or two which will make it perfectly perfect.
