Care
Most of our garments will relax with wear and go back with wash. We recommend machine washing your garments on cold and hanging dry to avoid any shrinkage (with the exception of cashmere—always dry clean!).

Organic Cotton Jersey
100% organic cotton | feels soft and natural like a mid-weight t-shirt material. Has some give to it but is not stretchy. Light colors still have good coverage.
Organic Cotton Lycra
95% organic cotton 5% elastane | feels soft, smooth and almost silky. Has lots of stretch. Is lightweight and not super thick. Does not provide full coverage unless sewn in a double layer.
Linen + Organic Cotton Jersey
60% linen 40% organic cotton | feels lightweight and breathable. Has a lovely natural drape and is anti-microbial. White is on the see-through side and was our first experiment in this fabric—stay tuned for more colors coming SS22!
Tencel
100% Tencel | feels soft, silky and breathable. Anti-microbial and made from cellulose fibers. Full of natural stretch and thick enough to provide good coverage.
Heathered Organic Cotton Jersey
100% organic cotton | feels soft and natural like t-shirt material. Has a little give but is not stretchy, and is a bit lighter weight than our classic Organic Cotton Jersey. Custom heathered blends of some of our favorite colors—lighter colors still give good coverage.
Organic Cotton Fleece
100% organic cotton | feels soft and warm like a cozy sweatshirt. Thick, smooth on the outside and fuzzy on the inside. Does not have much give to it. Wears like denim—relaxes with wear and goes back with wash.
Organic Cotton Corduroy
100% organic cotton | The softest corduroy you’ve ever felt! Woven instead of knit, our version of corduroy is cozy warm, pre-shrunk and drapes nicely. Plus, it’s the first fabric developed from start to finish by Una Pluma!
Organic Cotton Jaquard
95% organic cotton 5% elastane | feels soft, cozy and almost fuzzy to the stretch. Thick material that does provide full coverage. Knit in a tube so it is extra stretchy and holds shape well. Our craftspeople are able to knit (not print) two color designs into the material (magic!).
Organic Cotton Bamboo Blend
66% bamboo 30% organic cotton 4% elastane | feels super soft, silky texture with lots of drape. Mid-weight material, the bamboo makes it warm in the winter and cooling in the summer. Has lots of stretch and give to it.
Organic French Terry
100% organic cotton | feels like a lightweight sweatshirt. Smooth on the outside and has little loops on the inside. Does not have much stretch or give to it.
Organic French Terry Lycra
95% organic cotton 5% elastane | feels like a lightweight sweatshirt. Mid-weight material—smooth on the outside and little loops on the inside. Has some stretch but not super stretchy.
Cashmere
100% cashmere | feels incredibly soft, warm and delightful. Amazing against the skin and does not have any itch like wool. Mid-weight fine knit directly into the garment instead of fabric. Loves very gentle care.
Fit
We love that bodies come in endless shapes and sizes and are continually working hard to design and create clothing that will work well for many different bodies.
Clothing can be worn so many ways. We tend to design styles that can be loosely classified into three groups:
Fitted designed to hug your body
Relaxed fit designed with some wiggle room in mind but still showing shape
Oversized designed to be worn loose and big
Please look for these terms in our shop listing descriptions to help understand how a style will fit. If you would prefer a relaxed fit from a fitted style we recommend sizing up, and vice versa. Styles that are 100% organic cotton have limited stretch, whereas anything that is a blend of organic cotton and Lycra is quite stretchy and therefore more flexible in size (refer to the section above for abundant details per material).
Refer to the rough guide below for our fitted styles. Our relaxed and oversized styles have a lot more flexibility.
